Trump is very much on the campaign trail, even if that happens to look like the inside of a courtroom.
The former president released an attack ad on Truth Social accusing former first lady and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton of brainwashing voters into supporting Biden.
“With Trump taking a commanding lead and Bidenomics hurting American families, genius Hillary Clinton has come up with a way for Biden to win,” the ad begins.
Then, the ad shows Hillary Clinton talking about “deprogramming” cult members, referring to Trump’s supporters.
“There needs to be a formal deprogramming of the cult members,” Hillary said. The ad suggests the way to do that is to brainwash people into supporting Biden.
“A brilliant plan, and here’s what that would look like,” said the narrator. The ad shows people walking aimlessly in a line. Digital artifacts on screen simulate messages put into people’s heads.
“Working Americans aren’t idiots, and they know who’s on their side.”
