Trump’s gaffs, misspeaks, and just weird answers to questions are beginning to sound a lot like Joe Biden, who’s known for gaffs and misspeaks. The latest is a strange answer – either a misspeak or a downright lie – he gave to a reporter where Trump said he was never indicted.
In case you’ve lost count, Trump has been indicted four times.
In New Hampshire Monday, Trump was asked by a reporter about Sidney Powell, one of Trump’s former attorneys who pleaded guilty in Georgia in the election fraud case. Trump has since disavowed Powell, claiming she was never his attorney.
“Mr. President, you said Sidney Powell wasn’t your attorney. Are you concerned that you won’t be covered by attorney-client privilege?”
Trump replied that he wasn’t and that he did nothing wrong.
“No, not at all. We did nothing wrong. This is all Biden, indictments, and impeachments, and this is all about Biden; he can’t do anything right. The only thing they know how to do is cheat in elections and election fraud. This is all by himself.”
Trump went on: “All of these indictments that you see. I was never indicted. Practically never heard the word. It wasn’t a word that registered.”
After being indicted four times, I’m confident Trump’s heard the word.
