Just days after a federal judge slapped Trump with a gag order limiting his ability to verbally criticize the New York trial into his business dealings, he may have already violated the order by attacking New York Attorney General Letitia James.
On Truth Social, Trump attacked the NY Attorney General and posted a link to a document revealing James’ home address, essentially doxxing her.
“Her Fake Case against me should be dropped immediately,” Trump wrote. “My Financial Statements are extremely conservative, and her numbers were way off, including the fact that she undervalued Mar-a-Lago and Doral by Billions of Dollars. She also didn’t reveal the 100% Disclaimer Clause at the front of the Financial Statements, and that she sued me under a Statute that was never used before. MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE AND ELECTION INTERFERENCE ALL WRAPPED UP IN ONE.”
Though New York Judge Engoron has taken no disciplinary action, it’s possible that Trump’s attack and linking to a document revealing sensitive information about James violates the judge’s gag order.
Apparently, Trump doesn’t believe the gag order affects his ability to post about James on Truth Social, a social media network where the former President has a large stake.
Just 8 hours ago, Trump wrote, “The New York State A.G., Letitia James, who sued me on a Statute NEVER USED BEFORE for such a case, had a bad day in the RIGGED trial going on in Lower Manhattan,” Trump said. “
“Her appraiser witness was a disaster on the stand, and her ridiculous valuations were shown to be incorrect, without even discussing the $18,000,000 Value she ascribes to Mar-a-Lago. This trial is a giant Democrat Scam, with a Trump/Developer hating Judge who does whatever Letitia demands. He is totally afraid her, but fortunately has been overturned on many occasions by the Court of Appeals, including in our case, WHICH DECISION HE REFUSES TO EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE -Showing great disrespect to the Appellate Court. Businesses are watching this Witch Hunt Trial, and moving out of New York – And definitely not moving in!”
