True to form, former President Donald Trump took the witness stand today in the New York fraud trial and railed against the judge and how he’s been treated.
Judge Engoron pressed Trump to answer the questions asked of him. Trump repeatedly took the opportunity to complain about the case.
Trump would launch into lengthy monologues. “You can attack me, you can do whatever you want, but answer the question,” Engoron said, trying to get Trump to answer a question.
After another tangent about being treated unfairly, Engoron sent out the final warning. “I beseech you to control him if you can,” Engoron told Kise, Trump’s lawyer. “If you can’t, I will. I will excuse him and draw every negative inference that I can.”
Perhaps Trump is egging the judge on to throw him in jail, inciting his devoted followers.
