Thinking of moving or relocating to a new city or country? You aren’t alone. Multiple recent surveys suggest that more and more people are considering moving in or relocating to a new country due to rising housing costs or a lack of job opportunities in their home country. Many countries are trying to capitalize on this global relocation movement by offering new residents various incentives, including cash or other financial perks. Here is a list of the 7 countries currently offering financial incentives for new residents.

Remember that these programs may have specific eligibility criteria and conditions that can change over time. So before making any decisions, it’s crucial to research the most recent information about these programs and reach out to the relevant departments or local authorities for the latest details.

The second-largest city in the state of Oklahoma, Tulsa, has a welcoming, small-town atmosphere. However, the city is currently seeing a decline in its population at a rate of -0.3% annually. To combat that, the city has launched an initiative in partnership with the George Kaiser Family Foundation — Tulsa Remote. Participants in the program receive a grant of $10,000, provided in installments over one year. Aside from the grant, Tulsa Remote offers networking events, community engagement opportunities, and connections to local resources to help newcomers integrate into the Tulsa community.

With around 600 residents, the town is now trying to revitalize the community with initiatives such as financial support, grants, or other benefits for new residents. Anyone who chooses to relocate there will be paid a grant of $3000.
