    Network like a millionaire

Have you heard either of these phrases before (I bet you have)?

    • Your network is your net worth
    • It’s not what you know. It’s who you know

In other words, the people you know will get you rich.

No, not in an “I have way too much money, so here’s a little extra that I don’t need” sort of way. No handouts here.

But in a *Watch how this person negotiates* sort of way.

Or a *Holy shit, Nancy can make sales better than anyone I know!* way.

To become the best, learn from the best.

To become wealthy, learn from the wealthy.

Fact: Most millionaires don’t get rich by themselves. It’s true that the majority of millionaires are self-made. But they also rely heavily on their network.

This email is all about how to network like a pro.

How To Network Like A Millionaire

Why is networking so important? Because it’s how you meet new people, make connections, and build relationships. And when you have strong relationships, you have access to opportunities that you wouldn’t otherwise have.

👉 Did you know that after my very first job, every other job I worked came from personal referrals from a friend of mine inside the company?

    Not kidding.

I got a huge promotion in one of those jobs, propelling my career 10x higher in terms of career earnings. All because I built a high-quality network.

So how do you network like a millionaire? Here are a few tips:

    1. Be genuine and authentic. I cannot stress this one enough: Millionaires are drawn to good, honest people. They can spot a fake a mile away, so don’t try to be someone you’re not. Be yourself and let your personality shine.

    2. Be a good listener. Millionaires are always looking for people who will listen to them and offer advice. If you can be a good listener, you’ll be more likely to make a good impression and connect with other people.

    3. Be valuable. Networking is a two-way street. To build meaningful relationships, it’s essential to offer value to the people you meet. Consider how you can help them achieve their goals or solve their problems. This includes making introductions, sharing resources, or offering expertise.

    4. Be persistent. Networking takes time and effort. Don’t expect to become a millionaire overnight. Just keep networking and eventually you’ll start to see results. After meeting someone for the first time, follow up with them over lunch, coffee or any other place that encourages conversation.

    5. Be present. I always like to have lunch with someone from my network every month. This helps me stay in contact, which makes it less awkward if I need a favor or to ask them a question in the future.

Here are some additional tips for networking like a millionaire:

    • Attend industry events. This is a great way to meet new people and learn about your industry.

    • Join professional organizations. This is another great way to meet new people and build relationships.

    • Volunteer your time. This is a great way to give back to your community and meet new people at the same time.

    • Use social media. Social media can be a great way to connect with people in your industry and build relationships.

    • Be yourself. The most important thing is to be yourself and let your personality shine through. If you’re genuine and authentic, you’ll be more likely to make a good impression and build strong relationships.

I hope these tips help you network like a millionaire.

Remember, networking takes time and effort, but it’s worth it in the long run. As a millionaire, I can tell you those first two phrases are 100% true.

Your network will BOOST your net worth.

And if you want to do amazing things, make friends with amazing people.
